Academic & Enrichment Activities
Students are given opportunities to learn through hands-on activities and experiments. They engage in fun activities that create a desire to learn through a mix of traditional and nontraditional topics including STEM, arts and crafts, cooking sessions, and leadership and financial training.
Daily Physical Activities
Students are encouraged to be physically active daily to enhance their physical well-being. Our staff helps them identify activities they enjoy and might engage in long term. Physical activity keeps kids’ bodies and minds from becoming sluggish and unproductive.
STEM Maker Lab
Students receive weekly in-person STEM enrichment from our partner STEM for Kids SC in our STEM Maker Lab. Students enhance their critical thinking by building video games, Minecraft virtual city building, and animation and game design.
The Yogi Bear program is design to enhanced the mindfulness of children by using games, art, play and meditation techniques. Our Staff is CPR and First Aid Certified through The American Heart Association and undergo interviews, background checks, and DMV investigations prior to being hired. Our employees have many hours of experience, and there's a 1:10 staff to student ratio at all times to ensure the children are getting the attention they deserve. Our safety measures don't end there - we have controlled locked access entry doors, which are interconnected to a fire alarm system and has a doorbell and beeper to alert us of all visitors to the center.
